Nero Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus (born Lucius Domitius Ahenobarbus).

The final emperor of the Julio-Claudian dynasty.

During the reign of Emperor Nero, the legions of the Roman commander Corbulo conquered Armenia in 58–59 CE, and Tiridates (Trdat), the brother of Vologases (Vagharsh) I of Parthia, was forced to leave the country. The victorious conclusion of the Armenian campaign was celebrated in Rome with the minting of didrachms and hemidrachms bearing images of Nero and the goddess Victoria, with the inscription ARMENIAC issued in Caesarea.
